Things That Make Me Mad

1. People typing "Awe" instead of "Aww" when they're trying to covey how cute something is.

2. When people stopped in the left lane wait until the light turns green before putting their left blinker on.  If I knew you were going to turn left, I would have gotten in the right lane, asshat.  Now I have to stew behind you until the oncoming traffic clears.

3. How my son, not old enough to wipe himself, ALWAYS has to go #2 as soon as I sit down to eat a meal.

4. When parents let their kids go coat-less when it is 30 degrees and snowing.  Or, even better, when they let them wear shorts to school when expecting such weather.

5. The entire Kardashian family.

6. Annoying teen pop stars having enough money and free time to jet off to Hawaii to frolic on the beach with each other (yes, I mean YOU, Justin B. and Selena G.)

7. Cashiers who will not speak to, or make eye contact with, their customers.

8. My stupid, useless dog.

9. Telemarketers who call 378456897458 times and keep calling because I don't ever pick up.  HELLO?!  I'm not picking up because I have caller ID and I will NEVER answer the phone when I know it's you on the other end.  STOP CALLING ME.  I realize I should just answer and say, "Take me off your list" but now it has become a battle of wills.

10. Last (for now), but not least: the ever-popular misuse of they're, their and there (and their cousins, you're and your).  ARGH!

Small Steps

So I suddenly remembered today that I'd totally, completely, 100% forgotten about this blog (as well as the fact that I was going to be better about, you know, blogging).  It's with a sigh of relief that I realize that it's only been 2 days since my last post, so progress has definitely been made.  Small steps, I tell myself.  If I can avoid having months pass between entries, I will consider myself fruitful. 

The small, teeny-tiny issue is that I simply can not think of anything interesting to blog about.  Or anything uninteresting, for that matter.  How do the real bloggers do it?

New Beginnings x Infinity

Okay, so I keep "resurrecting" this blog, only to have 76548 days pass between entries.  But, I figure, it's February 1, so that's like a beginning.  Like, the beginning of a month, you know.  It's not the FIRST month.  But it's A month.  The beginning of.  And so too shall I begin.  Again. 

I saw two nuns playing basketball in the park today.  This was just very extraordinary to me.  Perhaps it is a sign... extraordinary happenings on Feb 1... kind of like me starting up my blog again...

You see, it all connects.  I am MEANT to revitalize my musings.  God said so.  I know this because of the nuns.
